Jerry Appleby has extensive experience in: 

�   CROSS CULTURAL PROGRAMMING.  He served as a missionary in American and Western Samoa and was the coordinating pastor of two multi-congregational churches.

�   URBAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.  He was the leader in the beginning of three community based non-profits.  Both were financially sound and had extensive programming in their respective communities.  He also gave leadership to developing restoration programming in two low income communities as a resident/community leader.

�  CHURCH PLANTING.  He has given leadership to planting 14 churches in 8 different languages. 

      Until 2007 he was founder and Executive Director of Reaching Our City, Inc. (ROC), in Oklahoma City, OK.  Operating out of a 30,000 sq. ft. renovated warehouse, programming includes a Medical Clinic, Dental Clinic, Counseling Center, Day Care, After School Program, Resale Shop, Food Pantry, Legal Aid, as well as an extensive Family Seminar and Job Training Program.   ROC has just finished celebrating their 10^th anniversary. 

      For the last two years Jerry has been the Director of Capacity Development for Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Inc. developing the Apex Project - an assessment tool and consulting tool for faith based non profits.

      Jerry is the author of two books and numerous articles in a variety of publications.
